L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program

Program Description

To achieve career success in today’s constantly changing, complex work environment, professionals in the telecommunications industry are often challenged to explore avenues outside traditional organizational programs (e.g., company-sponsored training and development initiatives, workshops, and seminars, etc.) for the kind of information, insight, and understanding they need to take charge of their careers. The L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program was created to fill this gap for NAMIC members.

Registration

NAMIC initially established the mentorship program in 1993, and in 1997 renamed it in honor of the late L. Patrick Mellon, an executive with ESPN, Inc, one of NAMIC’s founding members, and a respected mentor in the cable industry. The goal of the L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program is to aid NAMIC members in growing their careers in the telecommunications industry.

All NAMIC members are eligible to participate in the L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship program.

Participants in the L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program feel that it is one of the greatest benefits of their NAMIC membership providing them the opportunity to:
